Anyone that loves the Eurovision Song Contest? I can't wait until It's time for the 2007 contest in Finland Very Happy

Well, someone wanna discuse the esc this year?

My favourite was Ich Troje with Follow My Heart (got really sad when they missed the final).

And the worst song must be Lithuanias song. So boring.

Wich song was your favourite? And wich song did you hate? Answer Very Happy

Lithuania was kinda great!!! The song wasn't typical and that's why I like it!

Well, I think that's nice that there's at least a person who like Ich troje. That's not my favourite band at all so most probably I judge the band - not the song.

My favourite was Norway!!! Awesome song! It's great that Christine sang it in her native language. Norwegian sounds amazing! Cool

I didn't like Norways song when the contest was, but now, later, It kind of grown on me! I think that Norweigan isn't to beautiful x'D Maybe it because i'm half norweigan. LOL Smile

Then I really liked FYR Macedonia!

And all the bad things I ever said about Carola and Invincible, I must take back. She was wonderful!

Yes, Carola was gorgeous at ESC 2006. I think she was too confident though. Anyway, her song and voice... well - simply awesome! But I can't understand... Why didn't she sing in Swedish???

Well. What I've understand, first of all - English gives more votes sometimes. And then I think that SVT (the channel that holds Melodifestivalen) made her sing in english. At least, that what was they made Lena Ph (ESC 2004) do.

Yup, ppl prefer to hear songs in English... But there are more beautiful languages as well... Maybe we just used to hear English in radio stations because most of the well-known artists come from US or UK Wink

Exactly! I think english is better because at least you know what the song is about! But most of my favourites hade songs in their own language! (:

Ich Troje are terrible Smile

They have got few nice songs, Follow my heart is nice, but on Eurovision they didn't sing well ...
