I prefer multiple choice exams, but there`s a difference in life between what you wish for and what you get.
As far as vacations go - i`m also at a "vacation" between semesters which occupies me with jobs I have to submit.
She`s probably popular but unlike Shiri she hasn`t won singer nor song of the year in the charts that count.
Chosen - I would understand the older people not connecting to today`s music cause quite frankly today`s music mostly suck. I, personally, don`t have a problem with older music and might even reach a conclusion that it`s easier to find good music in the past than in the present.
Ninet probably has a warmer and more open personality. haven`t followed her clothing closely but I don`t judge a book by its cover. and good influence is always welcomed.
As far as losing weight goes, I think it mainly happened after the show because the people behind her found it more easier to market a thin singer than a fat one.

I think its rather logical older israeli people are not in to the youngsters music, just like the youngsters are not much in to the older artists their music. Ninet her music is indeed not very special, but her personality wins. She doesnt wear clothes where breasts fall out like shiri or maya (no offense), so personally i dont mind she is so popular in israel, i think she has a good influence on the youth. She gained lots of respect because she lost a whole lot of weight during the kochav nolad shows..and i think this struggle stole the hearts of many young girls.

Good luck with it! I'm about to finish my project about Oxford as we're going to England and Scotland for a class trip and we're supposed to write about places we're going to see. I was in Oxford at a language course so it's quite easy for me but the fact is I hate writing projects, especially during holidays when you're supposed to chill out!!
Anyhow, I thought that her popularity is just tremendous in Israel and everyone likes her. But apparently your father breaks this rule

That makes the two of us.
As far as her singing goes my father would say that her singing is boring and her voice isn`t varied.
Maybe there`s indeed something to do about the "common person" explanation.
Btw, I`ll be writing a paper, in the coming days, about her as an example to today`s culture according to a school which doesn`t really like the popular culture.

I don't actually understand why Ninet is that popular. I mean, she's not so beautiful (I think that Maya Buskila looks much better). She sings nice, that's true, but her songs are so sad... Perhaps she's so popular due to being a girl-from-Israeli-street and people like it. If we take a look at Shiri, the first impression is that she's the next Britney-like singer. Ninet is totally different and I guess, that's why people fall in love with her

Ninet is probably very popular, but that`s mainly because of her winning that "born star" contest and not because she has something special to offer.
Maybe also because she has a famous model as her boyfriend.

Ata Tzodek Oron, didnt think about it enough..i guess she is just a role model for many girls..just like Ninet for many girls in Israel

The content is also a reason why there`s no hurry in the remake of the site since currently there isn`t much going on with her.
As far as being a Shiri fan goes, Chosen, I don`t think it`s more logical for a guy to be a fan unlike the case of girls being fans of boy bands for example.
I don`t think the male fans of hers appreciate her because she looks good and her female fans probably adore her because they might want to be like her.
it`s a way for people to live through her and to look for someone to identify with.

Your welcome Alex, the site helped me out a lot too, and their visitors add new stuff everyday..so thats even better..creative people out there!
Buttt..i do agree with Oron, in the end content is more important than the look..of course the first thing you look at is the design..but then you will go through the site to check the content, which needs to have a logical structure or else you get lost (this made me change the look of my own site).
Oron, dont you think that in the end its more logical for a guy to adore shiri, than girls? Its actually funny how crazy girls can be about a female artist! Alex, or the other girls out there..why are you girls so crazy about Shiri (beside her music)?

A fruitful and enjoyable winter vacation to you Ola.
Personally I prefer content over design.
Chosen - most of Shiri`s fans are indeed girls but fortunately i`m not the only male who appreciates her

Dont worry about it Oron, im not offended or anything, actually thought it was funny
, beside that somehow i had this silly idea that everyone here are girls, so i assumed everyone knew that i am too! To quote Alex: "I'm Chosen a girl from the Netherlands"
Im sorry things went wrong with the index file Alex, i hope you manage to update things soon back to the way it was! Beside that..i usually dont have much insparation either to make my site look better.i check this site:
http://www.deviantart.com/
If you search under photoshop or paintshop brushes, here you can find the best things to get some inspiration!
Goodluck with it..if you need help with anything just scream!

Firstly, the post above was written by me and I don't know why it's displayed as guest (I was logged in! I swear
).
Secondly, I usually make back-up but this time...
I guess, I was sure that everything would go fine.
Finally, I made a Halahaka Section after I destroyed the "index" file. It took me like 2 hours to make everything while creating the main site always takes much more time. Fortunately, my winter break starts on Saturday so I will have a bit of free time. Besides, I am trying to create a new layout as I find the past one very dull but I don't have any inspiration
P.S. Chosen, people usually think that Alex is a boy. But I'm a girl indeed. So I always introduce myself in this way "I'm Alex/Ola and I'm a girl from Poland" or something like that
